Patronal Festival Eucharist and bring and share lunch.
Date and time: Sunday 28 June at 11.00am.
Description: Although The Festival of St Thomas a Becket is on 29 December, his day of martyrdom, the Church Calendar also provides an alternative date in the summer which is the date on or near to which we normally celebrate the Patronal festival. This date, or thereabouts, coincided with the Emsworth Fair in the past and for that reason the church was dedicated to St Thomas. This will be followed by a Bring and Share Lunch and a sign-up sheet will be available at the back of the church.
Tickets: Please complete the sign up sheet, available in St Thomas à Becket church, all are welcome. There will be an opportunity to donate to our charities and to our fund for building a toilet. Because of the limitations of Wi-Fi in the area, we cannot take cards, but your cash will be very welcome! Please Gift Aid it if possible.
Refreshments: There will be refreshments available after the service.
Accessibility: There is some car parking at the end of the lane by the church, or park in Church Lane as you approach. The toilets are public ones in the cemetery. The church is accessible to all.
